Excerpt taken from the Themis Database's dossier on Tohru Fukuzawa, circa 2063:

"Tohru’s skills became invaluable to Zangyaku during the Breaking of the Veil and the First Reforms. He was the strongest Banisher in existence, a particularly talented Celestial Master, and the number one Mage Killer in the Fifth World. Many sought to train under him, notably Inquisitor Elias Tagabigay (a hunter of Netsach, Zangyaku, and the Methuselah), 108 (a hunter of Netsach and the Thrones), and the Turganev Sisters of the Thrones. Things, however, began to change for Tohru after 2018. Elias called upon him to join the Wiseman’s Committee – Tohru agreed, because of the filial affections that he had towards the younger man. He left the Searing Wind of Zangyaku in order to focus on his new role.

Nevertheless, Tohru did not hesitate to go unto the battlefield during the first half of the Darkest Vigil. More than a few powerful Mages stepped out of line when things started falling apart, and Tohru had always felt more at home in a fight than he did at a negotiation. What ultimately made him stop was meeting Asami Matsunaga. They ran into each other on a train in New Atlantis – or, more like, Tohru was quite solidly smacked in the head by a large tarpaulin that Asami had been carrying to the preschool that she taught at.

Tohru and Asami married each other in 2040, two years after they first met. Tohru retired from his Hunting career and relocated to New Atlantis for the sake of his wife. Interestingly enough, in 2042, their first child ended up being Hikaru Shinta’s latest reincarnation. Many, including Tohru, expected that this would drive a wedge between Tohru and his wife; Asami was, after all, a Deadwalker, and completely “normal” by World of Dakrness standards. Asami surprised both Tohru and the rest of Zangyaku by wholeheartedly accepting the situation, and attempting to be the best mother that she could possibly be to Hikaru. Perhaps she could see just how much Hikaru meant to Tohru; Tohru had, after all, been a surrogate father figure to the Blade King during his twenty-seventh life cycle.

At present, Tohru is one of the instructors at the Heartspire of New Atlantis. He is often assigned to Obrimos Awakened, and to Banishers. He also makes it a point to teach particularly talented Mages counterspell stances and counter-supernatural techniques that he had learned from his own master years ago. Zangyaku occasionally calls upon him to handle business that requires his particular skill set, but Hikaru makes it a point to let his father live as normally as he possibly can."
